Psychology – Careers
A liberal arts degree in psychology does not make you a psychologist or counselor. If such occupations interest you, be prepared to continue your education in graduate school, because such occupations require graduate training and are regulated by state law.
Although many occupations in psychology require graduate training, a bachelor’s degree in psychology offers interesting and rewarding careers in social services, science, and business.
Successful career planning requires a realistic evaluation of your interests and careful selection of experiences designed to develop marketable skills. You can begin the process of exploration by visiting the Department of Psychological Sciences at Benedictine College and the Career Services office.
